Hi! I'm Joanna, a junior at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where I study Film/Animation/Video and concentrate in Drawing. Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by film, television, and digital media, which sparked an early fascination with visual storytelling. That spark turned into something more tangible in early 2024, when I created a charcoal animation and discovered how much I love crafting stories from behind the scenes.
My creative practice focuses on stop-motion animation, though I’m also drawn to live-action filmmaking. When I’m not animating, you can usually find me drawing or painting just for fun :)
